You can propagate the plant through leaf cuttings (in water) or through petiole cutting (in soil). If you are considering propagating the plant through leaf cuttings, cut and take the leaf which is close to the petioles. The lower ends of detached leaves are inserted into the container with water. Change the water once every 3 to 4 days. Fresh water adds much to its faster growth. It may take around 50 to 55 days for the new roots and rhizomes to form.
